1. Dark Side of The Moon- Pink Floyd
2. Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band- The Beatles
3. Pet Sounds- The Beach Boys
4. Exhile On Main Street- The Rolling Stones
5. Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs- Derek and The Dominoes
6. Led Zeppelin 4- Led Zeppelin
7. Electric Ladyland- Jimi Hendrix
8. The Velvet Underground and Nico- The Velvet Underground and Nico
9. Highway 61 Revisited- Bob Dylan
10. Born To Run- Bruce Springsteen and The E-Street Band.

Notes: I'd include older albums by people like Elvis, Berry, Holly, etc., but though I enjoy their catalogs as a whole none of them ever really produced any magnum opus that compares to these albums face to face.

1: Abbey Road (The Beatles)
2: Odessey and Oracle (The Zombies)
3: Sunshine Superman (Donovan)
4: Strange Days (The Doors)
5: Electric Ladyland (Jimi Hendrix Experience)
6: Led Zeppelin II (Led Zeppelin)
7: S.F Sorrow (The Pretty Things)
8: Rubber Soul (The Beatles)
9: Loaded (The Velvet Underground)
10:Beggars Banquet (The Rolling Stones)

Changes all the time- ask me tomorrow and my list would probably be different. That's how it stands now, though.

I had to be diverse, though- in actuality all ten of my top albums would be Beatles. But, for the sake of argument, I had to put forward a few non-Beatles albums, just to be fair.

4. Deep Purple - Made in Japan
5. Dream Theater - Octovarium
6. Yes - Close to the Edge

I'll give it a shot, and, as always, I'll keep it to one album per artist. My top ten (for today, anyway) are:

1. All Things Must Pass - George Harrison
2. Aftermath (British Version) - The Rolling Stones
3. The Band - The Band
4. The Beatles (The White Album) - The Beatles
5. Houses Of The Holy - Led Zeppelin
6. Blood On The Tracks - Bob Dylan
7. Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn and Jones Ltd. - The Monkess
8. The Who By Numbers - The Who
9. Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs - Derek and The Dominos
10. Solid Zinc - The Turtles (I had to sneak in one "best of")

Now there's an excellent list. I always felt that 'All Things Must Pass' was underrated. Good stuff!

That's a mighty tricky question. I'm planning on working up a favorite albums list once I'm done with my favorite songs list... but off the top of my head I'd have to say something along these lines:

1. Everybody Knows This is Nowhere -- Neil Young & Crazy Horse
2. LA Woman -- The Doors
3. Wildflowers -- Tom Petty
4. Pod -- The Breeders
5. The Final Cut -- Pink Floyd
6. Tonight's the Night -- Neil Young
7. In The Aeroplane Over the Sea -- Neutral Milk Hotel
8. Led Zeppelin (I)
9. Unplugged -- Alice In Chains
10. Harvest -- Neil Young
