Glad to hear it Sooty. Since we have such similar picks for this year then it seems like as good of a time as any to plug "Two Bedroom Apartment" by Danielle Ate The Sandwich. She's in something of a similar vein as Nellie McKay, what with the ukulele and all.

I believe the original OP was looking for ones that were originally from 2010 but threads sometimes waver across a thin line. For some people they get into a particular artist during that particular year and it represents that year for them.
