Would it be immature of me to laugh at the thought of somewhere someone right now on an Internet forum has to be trolling with posts like:
“mosark wuz a hack. ein kline nact muzak iz so over hyped bro”
Or “London Synphony Orchestra was so much better under the direction of Hans Richter than Andre Previn.”

Interesting black and white footage...almost looks like an old horror film and I half expect the Phantom of the Opera to stick his head out from behind the curtains.....a great piece of music to be sure and one of the all time greats but I always preferred Bach and Mozart's style.
Like many others, those are my big 3. Each in their own were pioneer in creating subtlety changes in classical music, unlike any of their peers.

Bach in the ability to infuse melodic variability in what was medieval repetitive phrasing
Mozart in the genius of complexity and baroque melodic play at several layers and levels.
Beethoven in taking that genius to massive hills and valleys of emotion, power, and innovation.

These 3 are the ultimate greats, and shoulders that all other composers rest upon.
