OB I have all of GG albums,,,that is one of their best no doubt.

Magic is your thread for new Prog albums released in 2009, or the Prog albums you are playing/enjoying the most regardless of when they were recorded?

Somehow I missed this thread and the chance to diss The resistance by muse. :D
As some of you might already know: I download alot of music (and buy alot also) and in all that time (hunderds of albums) I have only deleted 2 after downloading and listening. Chinese Democracy and... the resistance. In comparison to black holes and revelations and their other works it feels very rushed and without passion.

Anyway :D to add to the thread:

Great album although not 2009, I have the original vinyl cover(see below)-much nicer it was a roger dean creation

In regards to Muse-have you seen them play resistance live? The songs sound even better than the album live.

Try this band, Subsignal with Beautiful & Monstrous album. Ex-members from Sieges Even.

Not too shabby! Makes me want to find the music of Sieges Even, too.

In fact the Subsignal sound is pretty much the same as the last Sieges Even albums, Paramount (2007) and The Art of Navigating by the Stars (2005). Is kind of a new Sieges Even album. It sure worth a try.
