    Choose! :wa

I chose to include the Sitar Version of HFS, because

    A) I like it better

    B) It correlates more with For Your Love, in my opinion, because the bongos give it an Indian feel (maybe its just me)

one of first psychedelic rock songs, so I'm definately voting for first one.

Interesting this early version of "Heart Full of Soul" with the sitar! I rather like the bongos. The Yardbirds weren't getting the bite they wanted from the sitar although it did a very nice job of imparting an otherworldly sound to the track. It was then that jeff beck suggested that they didn't need the fellow playing the sitar because he could make his guitar sound the same as a sitar, but with more menace. And he did.

Interesting as well is just how well the early version of "Heart Full of Soul" can be superimposed on the Yardbirds sans sitar or bongos performing the track on a TV broadcast, "Ready, Steady, Go" perhaps.
