Yard Trauma hit the scene in the Paisley Underground era of the 1980s, along with bands like Plan 9, Rain Parade, etc. They had a great tune in Battle of the Garages called Some people and an amazingly psych album called Face to face.

Thanks, I have lots of 80's and 90's era garage rock sitting around. I found that Yard Trauma album just a couple of years ago, when we were in Boston.

While others were listening and gradually succumbing to the sterile disco scene of the 1980s, I was awaiting something underground to happen.....and bang, sure enuff, here comes Paisley Underground with Greg Shaw and labels like Midnight Records leading the neo-psych scene. That scene literally saved the 80s from total oblivion!

Check out Plasticland, in case you never got around to it.

Oh sure, I was into Plasticland too, but I preferred listening to The Wipers and Greg Sage
