Paul McCartney & Wings’ classic 1973 album, Band on the Run, is getting re-released. The re-issue will come in various formats. Fans can get the remastered nine-tracks as a single CD or get a three-disc special edition which includes the original album remastered plus nine bonus audio tracks, rare footage of Paul and Linda, behind-the-scenes looks at the album cover shoot, promotional clips, TV specials and more. One of the first CD's I bought years ago when the format changed, I will stick with my copy it transferred to CD really well from the master tapes.

Seems like only yesterday I bought the deluxe remastered box. I have a bad feeling I probably have all this bonus video footage already....cool to see more pressings...but he should concentrate on re-releasing albums from his catalog that have been out of print for a while.

I mean I have them all but there are new fans to consider.

Anyway I will look into this.

I never bought that one on vinyl or CD...if he does release an updated version I Might check it out.
