I have listened to this album a lot the past couple weeks. I have been amazed at how good the entire album is. The vocals & vocal harmonies are impressive. The guitar work is excellent which includes interplay with acoustics. Nicely placed keyboard passages.

The music styles of the songs are eclectic. A sweet mix of Folk rock with numerous splashes of heaviness and tip toeing into the complexity of prog.

You may recognize the name of the chap who formed Wild Turkey in 1970, Glen Cornick. He started out as the bass player for Jethro Tull in the 60’s. Wild Turkey got off to a fabulous start and was the opening band for Black Sabbath and toured America with Jethro Tull. The band imploded in 1973. The End!

My top album picks:
Sentinel
I’d say this is the heaviest song on the album. It has a fat ass bass line and acoustic interplay. The vocals on this song remind me of Geddy Lee’s nasally higher pitch, but just fits the song.

Butterfly
Another heavy hitter, that opens the album.

One Sole Survivor

Great keyboard opening, nice solo, amazing vocal harmonies, more fat fat bass lines.
