Why oh why...? Do I get the occasional message that my post is too short when it has plenty of words and such? I have to add a smiley to make it work. :wa :bonk::oyea:

I cant answer that, Shadow, unless I was sitting at your keyboard when it happens.

I can tell you I have had that happen when I have quotes. Quotes dont count towards the message characters.

the next time it happens, make a screen shot and post it here....then I can see what is happening.

It it because of the latest V-bulletin update. It has a build-in tool that checks the content of your message and the relevance of it. When there is too much bullshit in your message it will say your message is too short. That explains why you are the only one with that message ;)

Magic: I've seen this happen a number of times lately as well. say a post as long as the one I am typing up right now, NO QUOTES anywhere, then I hit post reply or submit or whatever the button happens to be and then the site says (paraphrasing here):

You post is too damn short man... stop being a newb.

or something like that.

Never happened to me, except when I am Tagging threads, and hit Submit Post instead of just clicking "Save Changes" for the tag information.
