I'm going with Elvis. His music is so catchy to this day.

That is a tough question...Elvis seems to have the largest following of any deceased rock star.

Lennon's death was among the most tragic.

Harrison, never heard a bad word spoken about George.

Frank Zappa, totally unique in rock music history, went where few if any had gone before with his music.

Hendrix, probably left the most on the table...what he could have accomplished if he lived a full lifetime boggles the mind.

I will think about this and post my pick tomorrow.

Ozzy does seem to lack a pulse at times.:D

I should have mentioned Ronnie James Dio as well, he was one of the best examples of what a rock star should be.
