Finally downloaded and listened to the whole Vast Oceans Lachrymose album! It was awesome!!!!!!!!! I've looked to purchase it in stores but even the mom and pop indie shops don't have or know it. Looks like it's an online purchase for me.

Its so flipping hard to get your hands on and even then, not as hard as Of Empires Forlorn, which I am under the impression is a better album.
They are a brilliant band, I hope you get your hands on them!!!!!

I like the band quite a bit. I picked up on them when Empires of Forlorn was their most recent, so it's been several years now. I have that and the most recent. I really like The Drowning Years from Empires of Forlorn:



Three of the members double as members of the goth metal band Brave (one of those names that's unfortunate because it's so very hard to search on the band itself). I have three of Brave's cds as well, they do some pretty nice progressive goth metal:
