Thought long and hard about this one because they bought out some really great albums, but this definitely my favorite Clash

So on point recgord27!
Saw the 'Westway Boys' in 1977-they buzzed like an MG42 on the Russian front.
Believe or not I was staying in a Catholic retreat in the Derbyshire countryside and took a cassette copy with me-truth be known I got more of a calling from Joe's Telecaster and Mick's Goldtop than I did from any letter from the Corinthians!
Janie Jones, 48 hours, White Riot, Garageland are and were stuff of legends - The Damned and their debut offering comes a close second.

Hot on the heels of British discourse with all things political - these Welsh Wizards (not excluding Budgie!) slammed what was wrong into 3 minutes on a regular basis. Generation Terrorists is a debut filled with anger, social comment and slum beauty.
I was blessed to see them with the late and missing Richie... I recall that I was teleported back to the Roxy or Marquee some 12 or 13 years previous.
It wasn't all 'Madchester' then.... urgent music at it's best!
