I gave it 6 for being a good album, although 747 (Strangers in the Night) is close to being a great track. The problem I have with Saxon is that they are too derivative. The spin-off Oliver-Dawson band, to their credit, tried to move away from predictabilty, but their singers did not fit. On a positive note, Saxon cannot be faulted for attitude and have always kept to their principles. Strong Arm of the Law remains one their best albums (I do not think I have heard the entire catalogue) and is one of the most enduring NWOBHM releases.
