Stranger Things season 3 is now streaming!!!!!!!!
I can't wait to get started tonight!
So, I've decided to bend 3 different ways at the same time. To add to my watching (refreshing) The Sopranos ... middle of season 3 now, I've added season 3 of Jessica Jones. Figured that I better watch it before Netflix loses all of the Marvel stuff when Disney's streaming service goes live this fall/winter. Need to catch up on the 2nd season of Iron Fist too. So far, only 3 episodes into S3, it's been fairly lame and tame. I don't have very high expectations for it after the 2nd season.
Also started watching Lucifer. I really didn't know what to expect with this series. I remember the trailers when the show first started a few years back, but never watched a single episode. I'm about halfway through the first season and really enjoying it. It's corny and hokey at times, but there's enough meat and potatoes there to keep my interest.
Finished Jessica Jones a week or so ago. Average-at-best.
Finished Iron Fist as well. Also quite average-at-best. Some good fight scenes, but the overall story was pretty lame. They did touch on some story(s) from the comics (ever-so-slightly), but there was a lot f stupid shit injected into the overall storyline, stuff that made zero sense. Worth it to stick around to the final scenes. It actually left me wanting more (just for those final 2 scenes), but it won't be happening. Not unless Disney and their streaming channel pick it up from Netflix (which I don't think will happen).
Someone recommended this to me, so I decided to at least have a look last night. I ended up watching the first 4 episodes. This might appeal to fans who are fed up with or want an alternative to The Walking Dead.
Update: Just finished this and yeah, really enjoyed it. There's not a whole lot of dialogue, the zombies are fast and relentless and the show is just intense from start to finish.
Gettin' ready for tonight..new series...my Gypsy heritage loves it!
I've got that on my list. I did like Walking Dead for the first 3.5 to 4 seasons, but after that, I did more eye-rolling and groaning at the show. Negan was a welcome addition to the show for a couple of episodes, but then it went right back to being overly dumb (for me). I think I officially gave up when they were bailing on Alexandria and Carl was curled up in the fetal position in the sewers. I just couldn't take it anymore.
So, yeah. I do want to see this show. I'm not a huge fan of the zombie genre, but I'll give it a go
I'm really enjoying these two shows so far....
Started streaming Vinyl.
I didn't expect much because the reviews weren't so great but so far I freaking love it.
It does capture the 70's music vibe.
