You have a nice site here, but by definition it's a Classic Rock forum for the most part so that will limit the number of young kids that like the metal and newer music. So you will be depending on attracting older music fans or young people who are taking the time to discover the old stuff we grew up on.

It's like a catch 22, you want the site to get bigger, but not so big it becomes impersonal and unfriendly, heck if I had the answer to the question I would package it and sell it...lol.

I think a great way would be to advertise on YouTube video's. It's a great way to spread the message. Also we need a arcade possibly :p

Me thinks a separate topic on Home Recording, I have gotten into making my own music and on some other sites like guitar 101 they have a few home recordings that people make of cover tunes that leave out either guitar or bass and you can down load these tunes into an MP3 or whatever and jam along. kind of like for newbees to sharpen their skills.

And have discussions on the ins and outs of home recording. Such as what is the best and cheapest equipment to buy, which is the most expensive etc.
Just have a thread for nothing but home recording?

Great picture of the Stones when they were hottest.

you definitely would benefit from having a section dedicated to musicians and their instruments.

Put your rules as its' own forum, then lock the forum. It will be displayed on the home page for all to read the rules and posting guidelines.

Finding the rules is very important. This makes it easy if it is displayed on the home page as a forum.

another thing members will like is having a field added to the right side of their profiles to put a music playlist.

Maybe you should run ads or something. I think exposure is what the board needs. ;)

I agree withy the more people idea....

As well I like the recording section idea, I will be happy to help out in there.

Great job on the musicians/instruments section, some of my babies are already posted.
