Another great radio station I listened to in the 80s was KXLU. They played a lot of weird stuff. It's were I heard Widowed Isis' "Jim Morrison (I Want to Be)," The Parameters "Material Possession," and a lot of great stuff like Suburban Lawns (KROQ also played them pretty regularly, but only their song "Gidget Goes To Hell") and God Bullies.
