- Darrell Sweet with Nazareth when they toured with Zal Cleminson;
- Rory Gallagher, I think around the Top Priority time;
- John Entwistle when the Who played at Wembley with Kenney Jones on drums and the Stranglers, Nils Lofgren and others as support.

I saw Mike Oldfield in 1979, but I am not sure if Pierre Moerlen played drums. Talking of drummers, I also saw National Health around the same time, so the drummer was probably Pip Pyle.

No idea, I go back to about 1976 for my first concert when my dad took me to see Status Quo at the Blackpool Winter Gardens, so I'd have thought like 50% of guys in many of the bands I've seen are dead. I think I saw Dylan last year in Manchester, but he was so horrendous that I couldn't tell you if he was dead or alive, there was definately a sort of distorted noise coming out of his mouth, and he moved around a little occasionally, but they could have done all that digitally/electronically using computerised hoists and stuff.
