Jerusalem Delivered by Torquato Tasso
Biography of Oscar Wilde and his family.
How is that book? Oscar was one goofy dude. Would be curious about this one.
Worth reading if you have any interest at all in Wilde and his family. As a child he listened to his parents' intellectual conversation. His mother was very intelligent and his father was an ophthalmic surgeon. The family was well off but ended up penniless. Wilde was always an attention seeker and lived a very flamboyant lifestyle. He married and had two sons but latterly lived in France with his lover and died aged 46.
I'm a big History buff and have been reading a great deal concerning the Middle Ages, but here is another interesting tangent involving Mathematics that I have Conclusively decided to take Seriously!
Perhaps one can Compare it to a Poker game.....
Check out this book cover involving probability.
I'm reading Manuel J Smith, it's cool psychologist and he really teaches you how to say "no" and how to feel better when you have tough conversations.
