I’m a big fan of Matthew. These Go Fund Me charity requests I always take issue with and find it hard to sympathize when it may comes from an arguably successful person. In the end, I do appreciate the years of pleasure his music has and continues to bring me, which I have respond to by buying his albums and paying for concert tickets. I may make a donation to the poor kid sometime.

The Go Fund Me account is puzzling for me.
Like a Matthew Sweet telethon.

I recall a few of his early tunes...decent pop rock...you'd think he would be financially solid and he's also married since 2013 and they might have private health insurance also.
His 'gofund' is allegedly above $300,000 as of now.........so what did he do with all his record royalties??? I suppose he could be broke...happens to a lot of rock musicians.
