A long standing favorite of mine (among countless others) of Waylon's glory years. Clyde, the JJ Cale tune, done with a heavy dose of Waylon's seasonings and spices.

Can anyone help me?
I was a Country DJ in '88 and '91.
There was a Waylon song that had a great whip sound effect in it.
It was a slow, stripped down song.
I can't remember the name.
I've gone through his albums on Amazon and YouTube listening to samples but couldn't find it.

Will be playing Waylon in heavy rotation this week in honor and remembrance of my all-time favorite country artist who passed on Feb 13th, 2002.

Will still never forget the day he passed. I was sitting in the kitchen, and the news came across the radio, on a rock and roll station no less. I just sat there at the table and started crying. I still tear up due to my love for the man and what his music still means to me both in my growing up as well as through my adult life.
