Aerosmith has quite the reputation, and this is one major thing I love about a lot of older music that a good amount of newer doesn't have... brilliant metaphors

I have to laugh, Elvis Presley's song "Ring Around Your Neck" was banned from alot of radio stations because it was suppose to be too sexually explicit :lmao:

I've always thought Custard Pie by Zep was a bit cheeky.....

Drop down, baby, let your daddy see.
Drop down, mama, 'way ya, mistreat poor me
Well, my mama allow me, I fool around all night long
Well, I may look like I'm crazy, I should know right from wrong

See me comin', throw your man out the door
Ain't no stranger, been this way before
See me comin', mama, throw your man out the door
I ain't no stranger, I been this way before.

Put on your night shirt and your morning gown
You know by night I'm gonna shake 'em all down
Put on your night shirt Mama, and your morning gown
Well, you know by now, sure gonna shake 'em all down

Your custard pie, yeah, sweet and nice
When you cut it, mama, save me a slice
Your custard pie, I declare, it's sweet and nice
I Like your custard pie
When you cut it, mama... mama, please save me a slice.

I'd sure like a piece of your custard pie
I'd sure like a piece of your custard pie
I'd sure like a piece of your custard pie
I'd sure like a piece of your custard pie

Drop down
Drop down
Drop down
Drop down
Drop down, yeah
Drop down
Drop down

All I need is a lady
With more than average size
She's gotta be a bit crazy
Won't take no compromise
If she can fill a "D" cup
It's good enough to keep me up

Get you down on your backside
I wanna see your wares
Gonna mount you for a good ride
Nothing else compares
Takin' one into each hand
Do as I command

Doin' the Butter-Bust Jerky
We're gonna get down and dirty
Doin' the Butter-Bust Jerky
And makin' me feel so good

Dip your fingers in the butter
Spread it all across your chest
In between one another
You know what I like best
Push 'em close together
The tighter the better

Doin' the Butter-Bust Jerky
We're gonna get down and dirty
Doin' the Butter-Bust Jerky
We're gonna get down and dirty
Doin' the Butter-Bust Jerky
And makin' me feel so good

Yeaaaah that's very explicit :heheh: good one, Lou :D

Backdoor Man in a blues context usually refers to the guy The ol' Lady at home is cheating on you with... it's not quite as 'explicit' as indicated in this thread :D

Zep also used it in another song - Open my front door, hear my back door slam...

That'd be the backdoor man leaving the premises, see :D Maybe I'm just stating the obvious but hey...

Hahahaha, ooooops... :blush2:

Hadn't thought of that :D

On a songmeaning thread, one guy said that it was a reference to The Doors as well..
