I was thinking about a couple friends tonight and thought a few Van Halen fans would get a kick out of seeing these guys.
This is one of the best Van Halen tribute bands going...I think they may have disbanded now..not sure....I need to check with my buddy. They do travel so if you ever get a chance to see them...go and check them out.
The Guitarist (Eddie) & I used to play on and off together (for fun) back in the day, did jam nights on off days and all that, and wrote a few songs. We almost could have had a band together but other things seemed to get in the way. His name is Chris and he's a good guy.
The drummer (Alex) is Gabriel Anthony and I went to high school with him and he lived in my neighborhood. I used to go see him in many bands he's been in. He even appeared as percussion on one of my old band's demos back in the day...a Sabbath type band called Sacrifice.
One of Gabriel's bigger adventures was drumming for Pamela Moore (Queensryche: Sister Mary) and she also resides in Chicagoland.
Anyway...like most bands..there's good nights and ok nights...I hope this clip is a good example.

I think they have it all...the look of each member,the musicianship,the stage set up...from afar it's almost hard to tell from the real deal. It's difficult to get a decent copy of Michael Anthony as well.
