Thanks to MP and Magic for the thread revamp...and thanks to Dale for the renewed interest in this classic [in my eyes ] glam rock band.
VAIN never did hit the hieghts of say Poison or L.A Guns ....maybe because they were late to the scene and record label trouble didnt help. The first album "No Respect" just oozes class what a quality album.
They are still producing some great sounds check out these 2 tracks taken from the 2011 album "Enough rope "

Another quality rocker by VAIN ![ Turn it up !! ] Looks like I will finally [ ...at last ! ] get to see this band....they are currently touring and playing a few dates in the UK. I will see them at the Hard Rock Hell festival in Wales....tickets booked ,cant wait

Hmm.....VAIN cancelled the tour and even pulled out of the Hard Rock Hell festival....I was forever doomed into never getting to see this band "Live".
That was until last night in Sheffield at the Corporation. Yeah ! They rocked the place!! A great performance with plenty of top rockers from their debut album. eg Secrets,Beat the Bullet,Icy etc
Got a Tshirt and a copy of VAINs "Enough Rope" in which I have been after for a while
