As a bonus for me I usually like the instrument polls more than vocalists as I tend to get much less frustrated :heheh:

Wow. The last two groups are awesome. I had to go with Cobain and Townshend. Too bad both their butts are being kicked.

I surprised myself a little in the last matchup and went with Townsend. I know Eddie was hugely talented and influential but I just like Townsend's rhythm playing more than Eddie's lead.

[Group 6] Tommy Bolin (James Gang)!? :mad People? Did you miss the part about "James Gang". He did two albums with the James Gang and I highly doubt anyone would consider either of those albums anywhere near among the best stuff that the James Gang did, nor the best that Bolin was involved in.

Tommy died way to young and was a very good guitar player much like Paul Kossoff doesn't get enough love. Either way it is a hell of a match-up.
