i really like Appetite for Destruction. Guns N Roses were at their best at this point. Issy Stradlin and Steven Adler were a part of the lineup and served as great compliments. Appetite also has the song. The song is "Welcome to the Jungle." People that don't listen to rock or or dont like rock know this song. Everytime you are at a sporting event or watching one on tv you will likely hear that song. Also when you are flipping through channels you may hear the song on a commerical. The in between primal growl and scream that Axl does at the intro of the song sets the tone for the rest of the song. Appetite is a particular important album to me because I was highly influenced by Slash's melodic blues solos. Finally as debut albums go Appetite is as good as it gets. IMO people who don't want to give Appetite its due it is because of their dislike for Axl. Don't get me wrong Axl is a cancer personally to any ban, but is a one of a kind talent. His voice IMO would be a nice fit for Zepllien, howerver I know he could not co exist with Page. My point is Appetite is iconic and IMO is as important as Nevermind as far as pulling rock away from the cheesy big hair, makeup. spandex, pyro, commerical disaster that was taking place.

It was hard to leave off the 2 Deep Purple albums and a few others.

Look at Boston go. I didn't expect them to be in the lead. I'm delighted. :D
