I've known the '69 version alot longer than the '63 version (from the '95 Anthology?) and even though I love the older one, for sentimental reasons I chose the Let It Be version.

1963. I chose that one because I'm pretty sure they were together when they recorded it and weren't mad at each other.

The early version is good but I like the Let It Be cut more so it gets my vote.

Wow this is the first time I'm hearing the 1963 version. It is so much better than the album version! I've never been much of a fan of this song, to be honest. But I really like this 1963 version.

I believe John and Paul actually wrote this one back in the late fifties.Right from their first meeting in July of 1957,they greatly inspired one another in the area of composition. As a matter of fact,Paul wrote his first song when he was 14 in 1956.A little ditty called "I've Lost My Little Girl".Despite his age at the time I've heard him perform this one I think on an MTV Unplugged or some show and let me tell you something, this one had the possibility of becoming a chart hit. It's as good a tune as a lot of songs that charted back then.Even better than some.........
