No! My music tastes just changed over the years. While Styx was one of my favourite bands during the late 70's - early 80's, I eventually began listening to newer stuff like Concrete Blonde, The Cranberries, Collective Soul, Social Distortion, Matchbox 20, The Offspring, some Country . . . And I only have so much time for music.
:) Yeah, I pretty much stayed with classic rock and skipped the 90's stuff and only changed my listening style in the 2000's. Now it's 95% European metal of all kinds.

TWICE REMOVED FROM YESTERDAY is a FABULOUS Trower album and in fact I rate it over the follow up album BRIDGE OF SIGHS to be honest.

I originally heard the album Twice Removed From Yesterday in full back around 1985 and loved it ever since!. I have a vinyl copy and a cd copy and even an old cassette copy of the album.

The album features some of Robin's best songs (a couple co-wrote with James Dewar the bass player and vocalist) such as Daydream, Hannah, Sinners song, Ballerina, Man of the World, I can't Wait Much Longer, Rock Me Baby, I Can't Stand It and the title track Twice Removed from Yesterday..

A 10 out of 10 album ;)

Though I still prefer Bridge of Sighs, Twice Removed From Yesterday is a great album. Early Robin Trower is unlike anything else that was going on in R&R at the time. While many Purists to this day refuse to listen to his music on the flimsy belief that he was 'Nothing More Than A Hendrix Clone', I believe that he was as original as any artist of the era. But that's my opinion.

This "Hendrix clone" BS nonsense came about back in the 1970s cos some stupid rock journalist wrote that he thought Trower was nothing more that a "Hendrix clone" and since then many (idiots) have heard that said about him and then said the same about him as well and sometimes without even listening to a record of his and in fact Robin has 'never' played any Hendrix songs either on record or in public unlike the late blues/rock guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan or Canadian heavy rock guitarist Frank Marino.

Just a minor correction on my previous post after thinking about it yesterday I believe the first time that I played Twice Removed From Yesterday was during 1982 rather than in 1985 what I posted so the album was 9-years old by 1982.

Of interest about Robin Trower's music at a London gig about 10 years ago I did notice that quite a few 'women fans' were at the gig more than you would normally expect to see at a 'rock gig' with most of these women standing at the back of the venue in quite a large number of them and I dare say they attended was because of songs such as 'Daydream' & 'Lady Love' off the Bridge of Sighs album. ;)
