Re: Trivium

In my opinion, their second and fourth albums are their best, Ascendancy 2004 and Shogun 2008.
Ascendancy just feels like its done nicely, nice vocals, melodies, chorus elements. The guitars are sweet as well! It has a sort of prog metal cross melodic metalcore feel to it which I am really digging :grinthumb
Shogun is the same to a degree but they have experimented a bit more, threw some more idea's into the pot and I think it has turned out quite well!!

Re: Trivium

Trivium is a great band, I remember listening to them back in high school, The Crusade was easily my most played song by them. It's a great song:

Raise the guns
At every self-made suspicion
Build the bombs
Corrupt policy's decision
Thats the sound
Of Intergity breaking its back
In a country founded as a thievry act

Raise the guns
At every self-made suspicion
Build the bombs
Corrupt policy's decision
Times are dark with our children spoon-fed ignorance
Inheriteance of an anxious trigger finger

Raise the guns
At every self-made suspicion
Build the bombs
Corrupt policy's decision
Our Leaders Preach if we disagree
We're the traitors of society
Homophobia
Racism
Sexism
Our Systems breed supremacy

Ignition
Inception
Burning is a fuse to destruction
Break the walls of ignorance
To disarm the world for its last chance (2x)

Time again for war
On an enemy that isn't real
Greedy selfish warlords
Feed the agenda, death's the meal

[solo : Matt]

Thats the sound
Impending fever crawling up your spine
In a country
Where nothing is truly made clear

Raise the guns
At every self-made suspicion
Build the bombs
Corrupt policy's decision
Our Leaders Preach if we disagree
We're the traitors of society
Homophobia
Racism
Sexism
Our Systems breed supremacy

Ignition
Inception
Burning is a fuse to destruction
Break the walls of ignorance
To disarm the world for its last chance

Break the walls of ignorance
To disarm the world for its last chance

Re: Trivium

I like Trivium. Talented band out of Florida. Last I saw them in concert was a few years back. They were with Machinehead and Obituary. Phenominal show.

Re: Trivium

From Trivium? They're all good but Ascendancy and Shogun were my favorites.

I agree. I find that Ascendancy and Shogun are just better written and played. The Crusade is a good album but Ember To Inferno, I find very lacking and bland.
