I own a few.

I think this one, Stone Free: A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix is my favorite. Cool arrangements and collaborations.

I quite like Bryan Ferry's "Dylanesque" album, obviously a tribute to Bob Dylan.

As a Purplehead I thought this was OK but at the risk of bringing up the "speed vs. feel" debate it just lacks something. The guitarists are no doubt super talented but Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, Tony McAlpine and others can't resist the urge to shred all over the place. Ritchie Kotzen's version of Rat Bat Blue is my personal favorite. A few Purple alum's also lend a hand and make an appearence in Glenn Hughes and Joe Lynn Turner.
