Zombeels has influenced me enough to get 5 Kinks albums, but Tracey's debut is solid and I wanted to show her some respect before Hep and the rest of the gang take the Kinks.

Tracy Chapman. Maybe it's just my new found love for this kind of female singer, or my unfortunately dwindling love for the Kinks, (Sorry ZE) but I'm much more inclined to Chapman's music nowadays!

I love The Kinks, and I think The Kinks had better albums than "Village Green Preservation Society"...but, it's waaaaaaaaay better than anything Tracy Chapman ever did, in my opinion.

So, Village Green Preservation Society gets my vote.
