The above five riffs may be among your favourites but there's no way they belong on a list of the most recognizable. Most casual radio listeners would be doing well to name one, or at the most two, of those songs.

Well those two would be the first two then. "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Smells Like Teen Spirit" are distinctive the instant they start, plus they are two of the biggest songs from their respective decades.

Then I Youtube'd Iron Man and guess what! I heard this song so many times its not funny xD
