Don't play that song could have been my dad too. Now it's my kids turn to tell me not to play that song. I just can't get no satisfaction. Now I can just say "Hey you, get off my cloud".

Old Bee Gee good. Newer Bee Gee wears on me after a song or two. I just picked a top 20 for a particular week and year and you just have to name the artists and year. So who are the other artists?

The year was probably early in 1978:

1 NIGHT FEVER - the Bee Gees
2 EMOTION - Samantha Sang backed with Barry Gibb
3 (Love Is) THICKER THAN WATER - Andy Gibb
4 STAYIN’ ALIVE - the Bee Gees
5 LAY DOWN SALLY - Eric Clapton
6 SOMETIMES WHEN WE TOUCH -- Dan Hill
7 CAN’T SMILE WITHOUT YOU - Barry Manilow
8 I GO CRAZY -- Paul Davis
9 WHAT’S YOUR NAME -- Lynyrd Skynyrd
10 THUNDER ISLAND - Jay Ferguson (one hit wonder, if ever there was
one; but a great song nevertheless)
11 FALLING (this one I can't remember)
12 JACK AND JILL - Raydio
13 DUST IN THE WIND - Kansas
14 IF I CAN’T HAVE YOU - Yvonne Elliman
15 (What A) WONDERFUL WORLD - This is James Taylor's version of the old 1950's Sam Cooke tune (it was also remade in the middle of the 1960's by Herman's Hermits)
16 THE NAME OF THE GAME - Abba
17 ALWAYS AND FOREVER - Luther Vandross (had trouble remembering the artist and did look this up)
18 THE WAY YOU DO THE THINGS YOU DO -- Daryl Hall & John Oates' version of the Temptations' song
19 GOODBYE GIRL - David Gates formerly of Bread
20 EBONY EYES -- Bob Welch

You also must be a fan of the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack!

Although in the words of Jerry Seinfeld: "Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that."
