I would say Poison would be a top arena group even though some would sneer at that..
Heart on the list is exceptable.. But they started out in the 70's.
Of course the rest would be somewhat correct.. Is this based on Ticket sales??

Bon Jovi was more successful across the board than most of the bands on this list and they aren't even featured. That says all you need to know.

Not to mention that in an effort to distance themselves from the hair band genre, all of Motley Crue's members have been promoting the band as "arena rock" in interviews and other press items for the past dozen years.

Like Bon Jovi, they were more successful than most of the groups on this list.

Wait a minute, REO Speedwagon?! How did that get into the top 10?? Especially with a LP named "You Can Tune a Piano but You Can't Tuna Fish" - how stupid is that? I wont say they weren't a great band in their own right; for better or worse, many of their songs will live on forever. But come on, better than Night Ranger, .38 Special, Def Leppard (yes, even them) or Heart!? Not in a million years.

Where's Bon Jovi?? :mad

Either the big cheese making this list really didn't like Bon Jovi, really liked one of the lesser bands on the list (like Loverboy) or they simply "forgot" about them when writing this up.
