Exactly. Personally I don't care what you call it. Hair Metal, Glam Metal, Arena Rock, AOR, Pop Metal, whatever. The music kicked ass. I loved it then, I love it now. If I live to be 100, I'll still be playing the music that I loved in the 80's

    Very true.

I remember reading a quote in a magazine during the late 1990's from some arena rock type, it was Eddie Money or somebody like that. Could have also been Neal Schon.

Whoever it was, they said, "I suppose for some people it isn't cool to listen to my group anymore but I'm not going to apologize for selling millions of records and I'm still going to see a hell of a lot more people this summer on the road."

Queen, Queen, and again - Queen! I think that in the 80's they have not equal stadium-rockers to themselves!

^^Depends on the demographics of the site that does the poll.

I personally hate the term "Arena Rock", like there's something wrong with bands that play in large arenas or stadiums...:nw:

I saw Journey a few times in the 80's and they kicked ass live. Especially the early 80's version.
