I can't help it. I like The White Stripes. I dig how they strip music down to the bare essentials. They pull it off live brilliantly also. Jack White comes up with some really cool riffs. I just think he takes himself a little too seriously for the type of music they play. What do you all think?

The man is incredibly talented. He's an incredibly good guitarist, capable vocalist, solid songwriter, he can hold his own on bass, drums and keys too. He's also an accomplished producer. I don't really think he takes himself to seriously, to be honest. He works with a lot of other bands and musicians, he pops up in surprising places. He has three of his own bands, too.

I'd say he's the hardest working dude in modern rock.

Jack White has another side project called, The Dead Weather and it consists of him, Alison from The Kills and two others LOL. I just heard their latest, "Treat Me Like Your Mother" on their website whoa! That music video is insane!!! I like the Kills but couldn't tolerate the White Stripes but I like the Dead Weather :)

The White Stripes are amazing. They are far too overrated, though.

Meg is awesome on the drums and Jack is pretty damn fine <_<

Favourite songs.....there are so many but Seven Nation Army is one of my favs.

I've always known The White Stripes, but never really followed them. I recently bought a couple of their albums recently though so I'm loking to give them a good hard listen! 'Nurse' is already a favourite song.

Er...yeah, she is pretty amazing on drums. Not John Bonham amazing, obviously. Maybe you've just been listening to the wrong songs.
