First off, there are two bands with similar names. The Sword is not get confused with Sword. Just figured i'd get that cleared up before going on with the thread. Anyway, The Sword is an american heavy metal band which formed in Austin, Texas. I've had the honorable distinction of seeing this band in concert along with Lamb of God and Metallica. The concert itself was fantastic, but these guys have a shit ton of talent, and they know how to use it in their music. First album I heard from them was Gods of the Earth:

This album has some of the most amazing sound in metal that I have ever heard. The vocalist is great too, I don't think the band would be the same without him.

Anyway...onto the rest of the thread:

Yeah I like these guys...very Sabbath, but doesn't have all the extra musical variety that Sabbath offers, but cool regardless.

I still need to grab Warp Riders.

Yeah, I just noticed they released an album last year prior to making this thread. I'll be needing to get a hold of it as well.

Yeah, this year is the year for music. I've still got a pretty big list of albums I need to get, and now this just adds to it. By the end of the year, my library is going to be tripled what it is now.
