Strawbs
The Strawberry Hill Boys morphed into Strawbs in 1964. There music is consider art rock or glam rock. The lead singer and the creator of many of their songs plays acoustic 12 strings and banjos. But if you are familiar with them, you know they have a unique sound that is rich and full. They have been touring forever and I have a video of one of their performances in a park in the UK. It's great stuff and is the closest I can get to full-fledged folk music.
