Found this by accident...interesting short piece mostly telling how Brian Jones founded the band and got them going yet he has never really received acclaim and one only hears about Jagger and Richards all the time.

I don't think either Mick or Keith like to be reminded of Brian over the intervening 50 years since Brian's death possibly Mick more so although Bill has talked fondly of Brian in the past from what I have read in books on the stones.

Still the best of the 1960's.
Mick?. I LIKE YOU AND THE BANDS 'GOLDEN ERA' 1968-1972 also I have a liking for 'Goats Head Soup' as well ;)

JOHNNY WINTER did a great cover of both Stray Cat Blues & Silver Train back in 1973-74 also I like Johnny's version of Jumpin' Jack Flash as well :guitar:

My friend Bill went to see the Stones in Chicago just a week or so ago....no report yet....I'll post his thoughts after I talk to him.
