Anyone into this great Brit band? One of the best live shows I have ever seen.

I'm not sure I've heard them before Iggy...what's their best album in your estimation?

Babylon.
Interactive Review

They have a sound of their own, sometimes with a Celtic touch.
I guess it's what would be, 'melodic rock' ..from ballads to rockers.
I would like to get 'Spellbound' though.

Cool, I loved Return To Evermore, my favourite song from that album...

I also really liked the song 'Dreamtide' but am having a job to find a vid of that at the moment :(

Bit later than planned as I've actually only just listened to Babylon tonight.

Right now, at least, I'm having a real job to get into it. I usually quite like concept albums, but the theme of this one was, for me, extremely off-putting as I really don't like sci-fi. The random spoken bits in between some of the songs were also off-putting, although I can see how they were relevant to the stories within the songs.

The music itself was okay for the most part, admittedly it's very rarely I like any album on a first listen, the theme spoiled it for me to an extent but because I like the band's music, I will persevere with it :)

Did you get round to listening to this after LG?

My favourite songs from the new album...
