This is a female artist that kinda flew below the radar, but I always thought she was talented, especially in the blues vocals and guitar work.

Rock me Right was probably one of the first songs I heard by her. It is quite powerful! I got to see her in Austin back in the late 90's. Hmm, maybe it was early 2000... *shrug*

I saw Derrick Trucks live in 2005, he is amazing. I have listened to Susan before and she is incredible too. The thing I saw Derrick at was the Eric Clapton tour, with Derrick Trucks and Robert Cray Band. Best concert of my life (so far).

Currently one of my favoruite female vocalists. Needless to add, I only know her from the Tedeschi Trucks Band (their latest albums is one of my favourite albums of 2013). I need to check out her solo stuff.

Wow, this is a name I haven't heard or thought of in a long time.

This girl is the real deal, too. Serious chops, and no pigeon holing. This cat is all over.

I used to have Just Won't Burn. Couldn't say where it is now. The Missus swiped it years ago.

    Thanks Phil B.:)

Now I have something to do for a while. Go prospecting.
