Spock's Beard's releases basically sound the same to me. Over-produced, highly polished, neo-prog/prog-pop and Morse's lyrics are pretentious and predictable. A typical modern, mainstream Yes/Genesis/Camel/Gentle Giant recycling.
On the other hand, Transatlantic is much more diverse which isn't surprising with the personnel. Nothing groundbreaking but a brilliant endeavor of classic prog especially, 'Bridge Across Forever'.
Ditto what I said above about Spocks Beard with regard to Transatlantic. With Transatlantic I really tried to like them and I found the music a bit easier to take than with Spocks Beard but Morses cheezee lyrics and particularly his constant references and innuendo regarding his religious beliefs really put me off.
