At least I'm not the only one to have voted for Paul Simon anymore.

Don't misunderstand me, Cosmic, I love Paul Simon's work. But I have to vote for McCartney just on the sheer amount of material he has written in his career.

Both write quality songs, but McCartney has a vast writing style under his belt. If Simon would have come out of his Folk comfort zone a bit, I would definitely chalk him up as a better songwriter

Oh yes, I understand completely, Magic. As I said earlier, there is no doubt that Macca has been the much more adventurous and versatile songwriter of the two but I think Paul Simon might be getting to old to try something new. Not to say he couldn't but more that he won't. Old dogs and new tricks, ya know?
