Is it only me or anyone else find them sounding like Tool :D anyway, nice band ! need to check out
Yes, Cognitive sounds a lot like Tool. The vocalist even sounds like Maynard. However, the originality is in the lyrics, which aren’t as deep and thought provoking. Soen wrote some really good songs on this debut album.

Tellurium (2014)

Tellurium is an improvement over the debut. It is more progressive. The vocals are more mature and flow nicely with the melodic melancholy of some of the songs. Great example…

The Words

Another great pick…Void

Another album highlight..The Other’s Fall

The highlight of Tellurium is the vocals. I appreciate the heaviness of the album, but I feel the loudness of the percussion squelches the guitars. I like the funky bass grooves, and conga drums, though.
There is room for some sound mastering improvements…….8/10
