Great, great song. Brings me back to my high school days cruising in my buddies 65 Galaxie Station Wagon with the AM radio cranked.

Now there's a classic oldie.....a Galaxie Wagon......lol. Back in 1964 - 66 my mother had a dark blue Galaxie 500. It was a luxury tank! :heheh:

What kind of motor did the Galaxy have? I know some Fairlane and Galaxy came with big blocks.

Make it Happen which celebrates its 50th birthday August 2017, contained Smokey's famous hit Tears of a Clown.

The album was re-released in 1970 as Tears of a Clown due to the huge success of the single.

I think that one had the old 289 in it. Most of the big blocks in these cars were 390's. If you can find a car with a 428 you got something. Now if you find one with a 427 you have a gold mine. Got as have a 4 speed with them tho.

YT recommended a channel called "Lost Hits Of The 70's & 80's". Tons of truly obscure bands there, but The Miracles was not quite one of those.

They did 7 albums after Smokey departed. This is the 7th and final album. It did not chart.
