Why is it that every time we inch toward entering a new conflict centered on regime change, they always have lots and lots of oil?
And conveniently they are always run by a "Monster" so we are actually doing the people a favor and we are actually the good guys for invading the country.
And then later after the country is devastated they all hate us.

    Next on the menu....... Venezuela.
We institute crushing sanctions until the situation reaches critical mass and produces widespread unrest then we sell it to the public that we are "saviors.
A plan worthy of Dr Evil.

It's been playing out ever since there was a power vacuum created with the death of Chavez
    https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/u-s-imposed-sanctions-venezuela
We create the situation and blame the leadership for the turmoil.
If they try to fix it we call them a dictator. (Most of them actually are of course)
Next we look for some stooges to prop up with weapons and support to overthrow them.
    Instant revolution.
    Just like baking a cake.
Set the timer and wait for it to bake.
Once it's a blood bath....... boots on the ground and the rich get richer.
    Tried and true

I love how in the above video he notes how in Washington "when it's time for regime change in an oil rich country everybody forgets the partisan bickering and they become all kumbaya"
Everybody gets all kumbaya because it's all a big show meant to make the public chase their tails. It's pro wrestling. A show. They are all on the same script. If they aren't they don't last. Or if they do last because of grass roots support they don't get cooperation and can't accomplish much. And eventually they get rid of them with some scandal or media campaign.

I like your thoughts on this subject matter and this is not "My Thread", but....

Are you a Realist or a Nominalist?

Pointing the finger at Evil is like trying to form a new church...

    WTF are you blathering about.
So religion has actually resulted in a situation where you find objecting to anything no matter how horrible off the table?
    WOW!
You appear to have been fully, and spiritually tamed.
I rarely find the term "opiate of the people" meaningful but holy crap man!
You have emptied your self and pumped in bullshit as a substitute.
And now your life is much simpler. No pain.
    Congratulations.

I like Tucker Carlson more and more.
The left has gotten so insane that he has come into fashion.

Never mind. I've just been trying to understand philosophy in the Middle Ages lately.
