was an alternative rock band which formed in 1989 and disbanded in 1994

Their self-titled debut was released in March 1991,

followed by their first single, "Three Strange Days."



Their second album, Human Cannonball, was released in 1993.

The album did not sell very well and was not as successful as the self-titled album.

Shortly thereafter, the band broke up.



Singer Josh Clayton-Felt died on January 19, 2000 at 32 of testicular cancer. His death effectively ended any hopes of a School of Fish reunion. :

And I thought I was the only one who knew about this band. Silly me. Three Strange Days is a classic alt tune; I first heard it on college radio.

I have the School of Fish album and absolutely love Josh Clayton Felt's Inarticulate Nature Boy album. Fantastic album. In the late 90's he opened a show for Del Amitri and had me interested from start to finish. I bought his solo album right there, after that show.
