By far my favorite "psychobilly" band probably due to the heavy blues rock guitar and strong metal influences while still retaining an overall rockabilly base.
Dave "Sasquatch" Caetano has recently taken to playing live shows as a one man band known as KING SICKABILLY. It sounds amazing full for just one guy playing guitar, bass drum and tambourine while belting out his own brand of rockabilly, demon possessed blues, vocally.

I was at first mad when I discovered that Dave has once again lost his back up band due to whatever black infestations haunt his dark soul. However now apparently back together I have hopes of a another group composition. Anyone interested can find all the info they need at the link below

Fantastic stuff. Powerhouse andreline energy. Psychobilly, I love it. A new genre for me. Any other bands with this kick-azz metal/rockabilly?

Most of it is much more punk influenced as would make sense as Psychobilly is by definition a cross between punk rock and rockabilly. It is also known as Punkobilly. There are some bands that are definitely more metal based but a lot of those bands border on being thrash metal ,IMO.

These guys are pretty good DKW! The vocals and feel free too call me out for being wrong remind me of Henry Rollins. I'm not sure if this could be an album band for me but it's be a cool thing to shake up a mix for me as I do like the songs. In particular I liked Storming the Gates and Self Induced!

I'm certainly not going to tell you that you are wrong Soot lol ..you hear what you hear. I am sure Dave has listened to some Black Flag in his day but I can't remember him siting them as an influence in any of his bios.

Here is an idea of what some of the other bands that have a bit more of a metal guitar edge
in their sound are like, Joe. Obviously the punk and rockabilly is still present.
