Sad Passing Of Barrie Masters.

Eddie And The Hot Rods lost their lead singer this week, aged just 63.
This Canvey Island band were at the forefront of Pub Rock- rubbing shoulders with the main exponents, Dr.Feelgood.
The Sex Pistols supported The Rods many times. Barrie's family and the band are said to be "shocked by this sudden death".
On several occasions i have had the pleasure of seeing the band live...and Barrie held the crowd in his hand.
RIP mate 'Life On The Line.'

His band was pivotal in the punk and pub movement.
