I knew Tracey would show up...there is some resemblance between the keeper and Sox.:D

Great shot of Neil's drum kit Sox, I know some drummers can get plenty of sound from minimal kit, but for Rush's music I am sure he needs every piece of his gear.:drummin:

I don't know the technical terms in drumming LG but at Sheffield Neil seemed to use every pot and pan in front, behind and at the side, incredible really.
I know what you mean though like Charlie Watts gets great sounds and patterns from a basic kit but the Rush vibe calls for a different approach. However I would bet Neil could get something going on three empty beer tins.

Sam Dunn's work is excellent, his documentaries have been first class and I learned a lot about metal in general. I will definitely check out his documentary on Rush when it comes out.
