yeah another fan of Roy. Saw him open up for John McLaughlin and another time opening up for the dixie dregs. I like his live stuff the most.

Here's my favorite thing by him. It's a cover of "Hey Joe" and is my favorite version of the song

Wow, what a brilliant version of Hey Joe. It left me gob-smacked.
What a brilliant blues/rock guitarist. I always thought of him as a country singer so never listened to any of his stuff. Man, I have a lot of catching up to do.

Been a while since I last visited this site. I now have a couple of his albums on vinyl and cd. He was a truly great guitarist in the same league as Peter Green. Every album is different and a masterpiece in some way or another. The more I listen to him, the more I appreciate him.
